Students often come to AR SOAR. Student Services looking for advice because their Student Visa has not been granted, that is their student visa has been rejected or refused. Sadly the reason we often hear is because the student’s visa was managed by some “dodgy” migration agent and the agent made a mess of the application – either made mistakes on the forms or didn’t address the genuine temporary entrant (GTE) “test” correctly – what ever the reason the Student did not get the visa – and lost their money and got a whole lot of stress.
GTE and PIC 4020 are very difficult legal matters fortunately referred these appeals to our legal team – ABG Legal – ABG legal is headed by AR LAW Services: Master Migration Lawyers.
The head Migration Lawyer, Mr Anthony Robinson. BA. LLB. GCLP. LLM. FVISA. is a Master Migration Lawyer and Fellow of the Victorian Immigration Solicitors’ Alliance and has been helping International Students win appeals for more than Twenty (20) years.
These case GTE and PIC 4020, as often happens, was made more problematic due to the bad advice and incompetent work of a migration agent.
(Often students would be better off doing there own applications than risking the visa application with a cheap and poorly trained migration agent.)
So if you or someone you know has had their visa cancelled or have received notice from the department the visa is about to be cancelled pursuant to section 116 or any other grounds talk to us. (for more about cancelled or refused visa go to
